STUDY CAMP II (29th April - 30th April 2005 )Yes people... I'm back from the camp. Well, I have to admit that, this camp is really slightly better than my previous study camp. At least we had some serious study.
Now, how did it all started. Why did I went for the camp which actually if I have a choice, I would not go. HOWEVER, due to some stupid twisted plot the school set for us NA students.... They decided to choose 15 students for each NA Class except the Sec4s to attend the study camp. Now....here's the werid part. 15 students...-->
15 TOP STUDENTS. So I was like: "Wha...Heng! =DD"
As my form teacher was choosing the 15 students who had topped either Maths or Chem in the tests. As my classmates were being chosen, I was seriously laughing away at them. BUT THEN ARH... my teacher saw me then he called out my name.... I was like
OIE!!! Wha lau.... Then AJ was laughing at me too but then also kena called out. Lolz.... Backfired.
They wanted to train us up to be the
ELITES of the class. I mean..Wow.. O_O" (Some propaganda eh?)
But I didn't want to go. I want to do my ushering on that night but my teacher told me......get a replacement. *Sigh*..So that happened on TUESDAY. But before I go on, I have to specially thank somebody. That is Audrey Han! She gave me a sling bag for my bday. I was like.... omg, thank you so much! =') But yeah....Aud, thx for everything. =))
Now..... Lets go on, So Friday came. Its really a long day ahead. After school, reporting for NPCC day practice. Then cheong to report for my study camp then thats when the study camp starts.
First thing we did was...
Target setting. I came in the D&T Studio and we used the comp to check our Performence Tracking System. Then we're to calculate the average and stuff for all our tests.
I got 3 A2s for 3 subjects. Now thats REALLY REALLY surprising. They are Eng, E-Maths & POA.
POA, I'm really studying as hard as I could to score an A2 at least. But still.... Hard work is needed.
Eng, I do not how much I can really score for this. I'm just tyco in the Eng language. So I hope to just get a pass though.
E-Maths, now.....the stupid teacher is like....nuts. And I didn't realised I scored an A2. I tot it was a B3 or B4 or something. *sigh*. The teacher saw my result and he expects me to score for the upcoming mid-yr common test..... an A1. I was seriously like.... 'WTF???' This is nonsense. I cannot score that high. If I really need to score that high, I would admit I defintely need help lor. Aurgh.... Seriously rubbish. *Shakeshead* So effing high. *Sigh*
After target setting, We have our first study session. POA! Wahaha, it was okie lar... we learned about Petty Cash. Many people have a little trouble here and there I also was a little confused. In the end, I was partially able to understand. =)
POA's done, so break time. We used the comp for awhile then 6.15pm go off for dinner at Novena Square. I saw my other squadmates in the school wearing their Full Uniform liao....with a SERGENT rank!.... Crap. They were showing it off to me. Rrrr..... -_-" Stupid Camp.So we walked to Novena Square by foot from school. Reached there, had about 45mins to eat and maybe buy your own tidbits from cold storage. Me and Don shared money to buy the most expensive but yet the best potatochips, KETTLE CHIPS. Swee swee. $4.40 sia.
Then we all walked back to school and I quickly passed Poo. and Jerry their drinks which they asked me to help buy for them. And they still want to show off their Sergent rank to me and I sacastically said its too dark to see the rank. Ahh..... irritating me seh.I went back to the Studio and grab my bathing stuff to quickly go wash up. After wash up, we have another study session at 8pm. I dunno but during that time, I was feeling very sleepy already. I couldn't really stay fully awake even after the cold bath.
So at 8pm we had Maths. Lee Hock Joo was teaching us how to use the calculator to the limit or whatever he said. After that, we had a 45mins break before Chem at 10.30pm. So I thought I go to 7-11 to grab something to drink. On my way there, I called Aud and see how was she doing and things. Came back, and started Chemistry. We were told to use the comp and share it among a group of 3. So that leaves me, AJ and Don. We went to a Chemistry webbie and had a treasure hunt thingy.Chem ended at around... 11.30pm. Pretty long but oh well.... so it was time to sleep or just do whatever you want. I just sat around and listen to my music... then go tidy tables together and sleep on it. Don, AJ, me and another classmate slept on the table. AJ was gay-ing around with Don and Don was pretty irritated. Hahah, ... in the end AJ slept on the floor. We 3 have plenty of space by then.
Couldnt sleep till 12.45 - 1am? Then later woke up again at 3am. Then went back to sleep and woke up at 5am. I have another 1hr and 45mins more so went back to sleep. Woke up at 645am and was effing tired. Tidy thigns up then report to the area at 7am. Waited and waited for the teacher until 7.30am. We were supposed to do exercise but then.... it was just wasted thats all.7.30am headed down to breakfast. So I paid $5 for this breakfast! Decided must make full use of it. So I took 2 helpings. Although I was last to leave that canteen, I was somehow able to finish the bee-hoon.
Went back to class and had Maths & Chem again....AURGH. Maths was okie but chem? Hate to say this but I was not absorbing anything. The teacher was teaching......very complicated and all abit chim about Atomic bonding and so on.Next, CLEAN-UP. We did like 80over pushups for rubbish found. Arms were nearly breaking and so on. Then everything settled? Haha...and before 12noon? YES... AND SO IT WAS HOME SWEET HOME.And here I am.... =))
