Now, secondly;

Last friday we celebrated Ivan's birthday!
Left parade a little earlier and went to meet Huiyi first. We quickly went to decide on what cake to get for Ivan. We bought the mini O cake. Then we sat down for a while...chat alittle bit. Huiyi saw her friend. Then later we called the slowpoke couple. I pestered Ivan and Huiyi pestered Qin Zhen.. but they're still taking their own sweet time to get there.

Both of us were starving. So we decided to go queue up first at Sakae Sushi. Line was alittle long but we just stood there. Started talking again and Huiyi started telling me lame jokes which really urge me to bash her up. However, I got my own principle so I couldnt do it. She even asked me to do stupid stuff ALONE. If doing with more people, I dont mind. Hahaha... but oh well. Then we got in and we had a really nice table. However, I was stupid to seat where the Belt was BEHIND me. So I had to keep grabbing food and up and down. While seating down, the 2 slowpokes have not arrived yet. So me and Huiyi were just complaining and complaining.

They finally came.. We had a big feast. In the end, Ivan treated. Ivan was really shocked at the presents Qin Zhen got him. But I didn't say much... haha. Although I envy them a little but I was more attracted the food in front of me. Hahaha. We all pigged out alot. Had the cake cut and Huiyi had to leave already for night cycling.
Then I was still struggling with my share of the cake(which was 1/4 of the whole cake). -grunt

Ivan treated us and we went to play Pool around the forum area. I wasn't very good. Qin Zhen finally learned how to play properly. Then it was 10+ already. Ivan' dad fetch them back home. I walked back alone home. (:

I was dead tired. But I was super high on my spirit and happy. ((: The feeling is still with me til now. Hahahaaha.

Thirdly;

Saturday morning. Woke up and went to school at 730 for meeting. Realised that it was changed. Bean, Caine and me were abit tu lan. Then went to Police Academy to watch Campcraft Competition finals. And yes. When we all watched them do their stuff, I started to think again. I had that feeling of wanting to be in top 10. Everything was back again... that emotion...is here again at that time and probably till now too. Sigh

Later, went to toa payoh and eat breakfast and i went to bugis for a while to play. Bean & Caine went to school first and Jerry went back home. After bugis, I went back to school. Polished Boots and played basketball. MAN. I wanna play more again. Then Keith forced me to go suntec with him to see his new love of his life. Hahaha. But he was damn shy and didnt dare to go talk to her but only message her. Then I quickly rushed back to school for duty. And we had that duty. I had to escort the specially invited guest with Joshua Leong. Hahaha. Quite cool lar. Then duty ended. Watched the concert. Halfway through, we were called back again for clearing up and this gotten some of my squadmates tu lan and me into trouble. Thus, I dont want to talk about it.

Today. Woke up with a backache and went to cheong my schoolwork. Then watched TV and dinner, went to funan with mum for swensons. (: Yeah. Ice cream. Went to look for the DOTA. Wanted to buy it. $74.90. NARNIA. Bloody expensive like crap. Scolded my classmate he bluffed me for the price.
Then went back home and here i am.

NOW.
I WANNA SLEEP.

As i walked back home... along the dark road... I looked up. The moon and a handful of shiny stars. It was beautiful and pretty.
I always been telling myself... I always felt I'm keeping the stars company all the time. The moon was there to be more merry with me at the night. And one friend said once to me, 'Dont keep the stars company.let them usher you to sleep.haha.God bless you. '
Haha... maybe i should let them. (:

Past few days, the moon was nice. Big, round and bright. I love staring at the stars all the time. But its usually at the wrong time and the wrong place, but they just happened to catch my eye.
Staring at those 'small' glittering cool stuff... never fails to make me start thinking of things. Never.
I'll just have my mind turning into some relaxing and emotional mode.
I'll just start thinking about friends, my future down the road and that special someone.
Almost everything.

Sometimes I really want to feel the moment. What moment you ask. That moment I once blogged before. That warm, loving and sweet moment. Yes..
However, I just keep telling myself that it will never happen. Because, many people finds it stupid? Nuts? even old fashion. Or that person will never thought of doing it at all.
But I just really...really want to have a super sweet and warm moment.
Thats just me. Heh...
I'm nuts.

And many things come to my mind.

After 3 days of camp at school & being able to endure my sickness all the way...

I ended up with a bad SORE THROAT.

Worst thing to happen in the morning, you have a throat that doesn't want to cooperate with you to start your day off. Sheet it.

Campfire was a success. Well done caine! ((:
Sec 1 presented their skit; sucky but good try lar.
Sec 2 presented their skit; retarded but at least a good laugh.
Sec 3 presented their skit; even more retarded but also a good laugh.
NCOS, those who were involved in the skit were the Campcraft team; we did the best. (((: I was happy after we presented to the unit about the fun times and memories we had in the Campcraft competition trainings. Sigh. It seemed all funny and hilarious, but I'll remember it with pride. (: Thanks everyone again.

Today, i felt slightly better but still sick. Went out and met up with Jerry, caine and eugene. Ate lunch and watched The League of Extrordinary League of Gentlemen. Really cool. Totally recommanded to watch it. Ate dinner, played tarot carding which we were risking our lives and laughin our hearts out in public and we went to the Potong Pasir Web and we started talking again. We talked and talked and talked and later, Caine & Bean went to stalk some girl and then we continued to talk and talk and talk then i went home.

How sometimes life can be really sucky and great at times...
But we all surely will have our own happy and great moments.

Fk it. #11 position. I saw that number. 11. Caine saw it. Jerry saw it. Eugene saw it. 11. Caine, Jerry and me broke down straight. Those were salty and stinging tears. All our hard work gone. Like what Caine said, so what we beat so many damn schools? SO WHAT? We were so bloody close. FKING CLOSE. JUST ONE DAMN POSITION AWAY to enter finals.

I prayed hard everyday since the competition day. I prayed to Lord. I prayed that I hope we can enter finals. But we still ended up like this. Yes, people say that the Lord chose this path for us for a reason. But I don't know the reason why. Learn from the mistakes, everyone said that too. Learn what? Every 2 years this competition happens only. And so what if we learned something? Its no use! Get it over with it... yup. I know. Dont be sad and let this thing make my life miserable. Yup. I know that too. But can you accept that fact? I tell you. It ain't easy. You will totally choose not to accept it. 4 bloody months and it have to be this way. People say don't be sad over this matter. If we don't be sad, you want us to be happy? Bright side? To my point of view....no damn bright side at all.

Its a cruel world out there. And I totally hate it to the core.

Camp Craft Competition 2006
The Preliminary Round of the biennal Campcraft Competition 2006 was held a little over 2 weeks ago. Our Unit's cadets were pit against 150 other schools from all around Singapore in this tense and much heated competition.

Our boys gave of their best and came in 11th out of 151...and we are out of the competition...
But before all you cadets out there get disappointed and upset, I think there are lessons and consolations to be drawn from it.

The Spirit of the Corp
Have you seen them training on days when you are probably having your afternoon nap? Have you seen their blood, sweat and tears as they practiced endlessly on a 3m X 3m grass patch outside Chancellory Lane? Most likely even if you've missed them, you'll probably have heard it. The Officers find it admirable that they have been most motivated.

A Commendable Effort
I checked the files from the previous ranking we had...and it was 46 two years ago...all of us know how difficult it is to progress up the rankings especially at the 75th Percentile...yet we leapfrogged to 11 in 2 years. You may call it commendable, I would call it excellent and praiseworthy. I think the members of the CC team and the Unit have benefitted from it. We all take away something from this experience, be it memories, or that special blister...it holds a significant place for you.

Be strong and courageous.
