Last Thursday.

My class was brought to Kwong Wai Shui Hospital (for the old folks) for cip project. One thing for sure... this trip was definitely quite meaningful to me. Let me start from the beginning. (:

My class were split into 6 different groups. Each group have different plans of what to do with the old folks at the hospital on that day. Some will be performing (singing), some doing magic tricks (?), some will be helping to clean the place and my group was to paint eggs with them! :D

Overall, the performing was screwed up but the bingo game with them was successful from what i heard from my classmates. Actually, not everything went according to plan but it was still good (: My friend, Amoz, was super pro with guitar! Whao... Just hum him abit of the song and and he just play the tune on the guitar on the spot. POWER. Kudos to Amoz! (: One of the lady we tried singing to, I tried to sing together was not that bad (Although my singing was super bad but i tried)... they were very happy indeed. :D

okay. thats roughly what happened but the next paragraph is my reflection on the trip, which was a report i had to submit. Bear with the bad english and boring report. :P

Reflection on my visit to Kwong Wai Shu Hospital on 25th January 2007

At first, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to really commit myself to this visit because; I didn’t have the knowledge of how to speak dialect to communicate with them. Therefore, I wasn’t keen on the trip, but I realized it was more meaningful at the end. My CIP group was to paint clay eggs with the old folks. When we were there, my group was brought up to the second floor to paint with them. Amoz and me paired up together to paint for them. When we first were together with this old lady, she had a visitor with her. The visitor translated to her that we’re painting an egg for her. At first, both of us were confused of what we should do. Then we decided that I hold her hand, along with the brush and paint the egg together with her while Amoz holds the egg. We painted a face and a smiley on it. At the moment, the old lady saw it and she smiled. Frankly, I felt it was not an ordinary smile but a true smile from the heart. I felt the warmth and I was sure Amoz did too. Both of us were then determined to do the same for many other old folks. The second lady we painted with, showed us a good sign with the thumb on her hand at the end. We were felt really good. There were more other things done at the hospital during the visit. At the end of the day, I knew that I was able to make a few faces smile and brighten their days. I realized that even the smallest and yet, not the most expensive things in the world, or maybe of how to communicate with them was not the only way to bring smiles to their face but, the love and concern shown towards them. This visit was definitely not a lesson but a REMINDER to me, that the minor acts can bring a major joy to people’s heart. J I hope that one day, I could come back again with friends to visit the old folks.

Saturday!

Oldham Hall Orientation Games Day.

POWER! Damn fun! Thanks to Mr Andrew and Ms Magdeline for letting us help out. It was super fun. Though it was drizzling all afternoon, we had waterbomb at the end and it was frantic throwing at everyone. Especially crazy bombard to many HMs and AHMs. :D

Then it was dedication service. It was fine and sat next to Cooro with her other friends. Tim was next to me. After that, we went to supper at the dining hall. Had a lot of stupid rubbish talks, chatting and teasing over there. Haha. ((: Left at 9plus and cabbed home. We were totally late for home. :X

Tiring day. (: And super fun anyway. :D

And OH! Caine taught me half of his JC mass dance. FUN LAR! :D and also learnt the BIMBO CHEER. AURGH. I disgraced myself and threw my pride away by doing that cheer.

AWWWWW MAN.

Everybody is suddenly feeling so down. Is it the attack of the lonely-again-on-valentine's-day-sickness? DANG.

Hahaha. I never had a proper day in celebrating Valentine's Day. Lol. Whats the stupidest thing i always have been doing on that day is.. going around and shaking hands with people and wishing them 'happy valentines day'. (Told you its stupid. Lol)

Well, i think we shouldn't worry too much of how valentine's day is going to be. Maybe its probably a big deal to couples but anyway, must remember. Valentine is something like a day where we all express that you're somehow loved arh. Not a day where you said that you love someone. NOPE. Really. Unless, you tell me that you show MORE love for the person on that day only and after that day, its lesser love than from valentines day? DANG. Then I sugeest you probably don't have the TRUE valentine's day spirit. Hahaha. Sorry to burst your bubble. :X

(I got a bad feeling I'll get flamed by people after this post. :X )

I have something in mind of what to do on valentines day. Hahaha. But that will only work if I can get a friend of mine to work with to get it done. Heh. Lets hope we can get it done. At least I should try to make people happy on that day arh. Haha.

Alright. Many people are getting really really sour right now. Is it that time of the month again? Aiya. Its one of those days. We all have them. :/ But remember to cheer up at the end of the day. TOMORROW's A NEW DAY. Really. If you really feel super moody or crapped up, I offer you my best medicine. 'SLEEPING'. Don't bother if you will get fatter or anything, sleeping will help you feel better. Believe me. If you still have that crapped up feeling, then i suggest you go do something that makes you laugh. From my advice, watch some of your favourite comedies. But you can choose to just forget what I've said anyway. :/

OIE! CHEER UP!!!

One more thing... I miss JERRY, CAINE AND EUGENE. EUGENE AND JERRY ESPECIALLY. Wha cow.. that eugene is forever spending time with his girlfriend and not with me anymore. I doubt he's reading this blog liao. SIGH. Jerry, I can understand lar... He's working. :/

Its funny sometimes that the minor things people can say, can mean a huge major thing to you? Or maybe just hearing about other peoples' problems could help you be awaken from certain issues and you feel better sometimes?

Hmmm. It just happened to me again today. I'm actually glad I could have this feeling. It makes me feel... 'free' and it somehow makes me feel much, happier. Just along the day, I just realised something is that maybe sometimes I'm actually not ready for certain things in life. Maybe not now. Maybe in the near future, after the most important thing is over, you could then focus of what you really want by then.

Easier said than done but hey... if its meant to be, then it would have to be that way. You would probably learn another lesson for the day. (:

To huizyi, christabel and tim... thanks for letting me like realise more about things now. Though you may not feel it, I know I do and I'm glad I could now properly move on for the time being. But as we all might know, ... no harm trying to have a stronger relationship with someone or with a friend, right? ((: Good communication is most of the time, the key to a better relationship with someone or with people. :D

Now... 2 random things to say.

1) OH MY GOODNESS. FISH & CO. 's SEAFOOD PLATTER FOR 2 IS HEAVEN! DANG! I MISSED OUT SO MUCH THINGS DURING ALL THESE YEARS! THANKS ALOT FOR IT, TIM! :D

2) I suddenly had fetish for the 2 cute characters, 'Chip and Dale! '. AHHHHH!!! I want them! So spastic and cuddly looking! :D

Lol. I'm crazy now. But I'm fine anyways. Heh.

Its time i should update. Both good and bad times. Haha.

BAD TIMES FIRST.

DANG. Last monday, ate billy bombers with Timothy, Elgin and John. It was a super fun time. Laughing and joking around about our stay at the hostel. Boy. Memories. Then went home and felt really sick. Didn't go school the next day. So, went to see a doctor on the next day. Later met Jerry and ate lunch together and went to school because there was student council meeting.

In the end, it turned out to be cancelled. Wha basket. Waste my time.

Then comes last thursday, it was a super bad day for me. Heh. I woke up at 4am in the morning to find that i slept in a very bad position and that led me to a freakin bad ache on my right shoulder and neck. So I cannot turn my head right or make sudden movements. It really sucked. Haha. And oh! I have P.E on this day. Fantastic.

Next, I got caught for my hair! Finally my form teacher caught me with the highlighted strains of hair. CRAP. I told him I'll get it black by tomorrow. BUT NOOOO. HE SABO ME. During recess time, he tell me to follow him to see the disicipline mistress. DAMNIT LAR. Aiyo. She said must colour. Okay.. that one, nevermind. But she still tell me to cut my hair because of my fringe is too long. WHA LAU. Means I have to spend money agian. SIGH. My mum was called up too.

Whats the worst one? The disicipline mistress go and call my teacher who is the head of NPCC. DIE. Sigh. He wasnt bothered about it i guess but she still go and lecture him leh. That lady asking for my head to roll. (The next day, my NPCC teacher swore vulgar languages at me about this issue. Haha)

After school, I went to cut and asked the guy to cut the sides short. So that i wouldn't be caught and now... I SWEAR I LOOKED DAMN WEIRD. Idiotic lar actually. Sigh. It better grow fast before chinese new year comes. :X

Thats all for the bad things. :/

GOOD THINGS! (but nothing much anyway)

Friday I went out with caine for a while for dinner after parade. We talked alot and boy, it was fun talking to him again. I miss the times man. And I dont have either Jerry, eugene or caine to play with anymore in school. Sigh. I know I enjoyed myself with talking to him. Really gives me a good laugh without fail. ((:

Lastly, Giang thuy anh, cooro! Get well soon! Thought you have specs on for the time being, I don't really bother about it. (: I'm glad I could always still talk to you and such. Work hard okay? Heh. (: Stupid bunny :P

Founder's day. -Recieving the award for P.O.A and the day NPCC was Guard of Honor. (Caine liew was PC and Jerry was CC! :D )

9th September 2006. Jig saw puzzle competition. First time I ever saw Giang Thuy Anh, Cooro :D

I got in for CHOIR (?!) for Oldham Hall's thanksgiving dinner. (By force actually)

Honour's night. A very difficult and painful night for me.

Lantern Festival. A fun time turned into a confusing and a difficult moment for me.

Things turned a little sour after this.

Then a period of time where i was to set my priorities right. I chose N-levels to be the top of the list.

Lots of slacking and studying at the period before N-Levels.

Every night before lights out was talking time between me and Cooro.
